Class of 2012
As a Senior at the Alameda Community Learning Center, I am required to create a website to tell everyone about my experiences in high school. It is true that without the help of ACLC, I would not be where I am today. If I had attended a traditional high school, I would not be a Senior today. I would not be graduating in June of 2012. With the help of many of the facilitators at ACLC, I skipped my Junior year of high school. I am graduating one year ahead of schedule and am thankful every day for this opportunity.
While I'm glad my high school career is coming to an end, I know that I'm going to miss it. I know I'm going to wish I'd done things differently - wish I'd talked to more people, joined more clubs, been more involved in Leadership - but for right now, everything is perfect. I wish our fun times and late nights together didn't have to end, but we are all going to bigger and better places.
We've had good times, and I wish you all the best of luck, class of 2012.
